August 2015
The NEPAD Business Foundation (NBF), the Business Council of Southern Africa (BCSA) and the Botswana Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Manpower (BOCCIM) with the support of the SADC Secretariat host the inaugural Southern Africa Business Forum (SABF). the event was hosted in August 2015 in Gaborone, Botswana.
August 2015
SABF brings together leaders from the public and private sectors from across Southern Africa and together they produce the Savuti Declaration.
August 2016
SABF participates are invited to the inaugural SADC Industrialisation Week, the event is hosted in partnership with the SADC Secretariat in Swaziland. the event is hosted on the margins of the SADC Heads of State and Government Summit in Swaziland.
August 2016
During the first SADC Industrialisation Week, the participating private sector produce and present the Esibayeni Declaration.
July 2017
The participants of the SABF working together with the SADC Secretariat and the Department of Trade and Industry South Africa host the second SADC Industrialisation Week in Johannesburg, South Africa.
July 2017
The regional private sector work together to produce and present the Sunninghill Declaration.
July 2018
The SADC Secretariat in partnership with the Ministry of Industrialisation, Trade and SME Development Namibia and the NEPAD Business Foundation host the 3rd SADC Industrialisation Week in Namibia.
July 2018
The regional private sector gather in Namibia to produce the Windhoek Declaration.
August 2019
The SADC Secretariat in partnership with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Tanzania and the NEPAD Business Foundation host the 4th SADC Industrialisation Week on the margins of the 39th Session of SADC Heads of States and Government Summit
