RE: Invitation to participate in the Seychellois private sector sensitization workshop, 22 August 2023)

The SADC Business Council and the Seychelles Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), supported by the SADC Secretariat and GIZ CESARE, will host a workshop to educate the Seychellois private sector about the benefits of joining the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Trade Protocol and the African Continental Free Trade Area (AFCFTA).

The workshop will also analyse ways to address and resolve Non-Tariff Barriers to trade within SADC and the AFCFTA. Furthermore, this event will offer Seychellois businesses an opportunity to share their experiences of trading with other African countries under these trade protocols and to identify areas where additional support is needed to improve trade in the SADC region. Distinguished local and international speakers will be in attendance to actively engage with the business community.
