Directors from both the NEPAD Business Foundation and the NEPAD Planning and Coordinating Agency (NPCA) met to strengthen partnership between the two organisations. The event was hosted by Deloitte at their Woodmead office on 12 June 2013.
Speaking on the importance of this partnership, Dr Ibrahim Mayaki, CEO of NEPAD Agency said, “The NEPAD Agency’s programme delivery process is based on smart partnerships such as the one between the NBF and the NPCA. Our organisations’ partnership is anchored on strategic frameworks such as the Programme for Infrastructure Development in Africa (PIDA) which enables us to have a concrete interactions and collaborations on projects.”
Present at the meeting was Dr Reuel Khoza, Vice-Chairman of the NEPAD Business Foundation who said, “The existing partnership between the NEPAD Agency and the NEPAD Business Foundation provides a vehicle for programme implementation. Our strategic alliance with the NEPAD Agency allows the private sector to engage and interact directly with initiatives delivering on Africa’s economic and social development.”
